How to use Instagram to promote your products

You should already have your own individual link. With your link you have now three options to promote your products on instagram. You could either use one of the following or more:

1. Place your link in your instagram bio
2. Create an instagram post linking to your induvidiual link
3. Create an instagram story post linking to your site

 Best Practices for posting promotional content

• Use a ratio of 1/5 or 1/10 when posting promotional content = 1 promotional post for every 5 normal posts
• When you've decided to use story post's to promote your own link, it should be easier to post more promotional content
• Never use things link "Buy Now or Shop Now" in your instagram post description, you shouldn't force your followers to buy something!
• When you're promoting your own link, you should always highlight the benefits for your followers, for example: "Use [Your Name] to get 5% off on your first order!"
• If you're a women you can also use phrases like: "I've partnered up with ApparelFrog. I'll get a small fee with every item you buy. They have 100% licensed products, made in the US. Make sure to support me if you want even more cosplay pictures of me!"
• It is better to use your own pictures when promoting your link, don't use pictures of the products, they are not engaging your audience!

Best Practices to promote your link on facebook

1. Make a simple status post on facebook mentioning ApparelFrog and write something similar like this: "I've partnered up with ApparelFrog. You can support me now with every item you buy through them. They have 100% licensed products ranging from Marvel to Star Wars, made in the US. Make sure to use my discount code an you'll get 5% off your first order!"
2. When you're posting a picture you shouldn't add the link to your photo description and instead link to your individual link in the first comment! You can also include something like: "Go to the first comment to see where I buy my pop-culture products" into your photo description.

How to get featured on the Most Viral section on Imgur

When using Imgur you probably won't be able to generate any sales, but you'll be able to grow your following exponetially. Just use the checklist below and you should get great results.

1. Use a general title like: [Your Name + Character + Cosplay]
2. Upload 3 or more pictures
3. Add subtitles to your pictures [Character + Cosplay]
4. Add your instagram username on the last picture and add a link to your profile
5. Add these tags to your gallery: (Cosplay, Cosplay girls,comic con, cosplay done right, [Your character])
6. Share your post at 3PM (GMT -8)

How to promote your Imgur content on Reddit

You can simply share your imgur gallery on reddit with one click. Sometimes it is hard to choose the right subreddit, but here is a list of potential subreddits that you can use:
